Head outlet – skis, snowboards and helmets at competitive prices

Head Sport is an Austrian winter sports brand, founded in 1950 by the American Howard Head. That same year he launched the first aluminum ski – the Head Standard Ski – and thus set the tone for what remains a race-oriented, technical perfectionist brand today. Head office and much ski production is in Kennelbach (Austria).

Head sponsors World Cup skiers like Lindsey Vonn and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, and that racing DNA can be found at every level of the range. In our Head outlet you will find skis and ski boots from the WorldCup Rebels, Supershape, Joy and Kore lines, plus Head snowboards, bindings, helmets and accessories – all previous season models, new and unused, often at significant discounts.

Head technology: what do they stand for?

Head has been investing in its own R&D since the 1950s. You will find the technologies below in our outlet models.

Graphene

Single-layer carbon structure that Head has been using since 2013 to make skis lighter and stronger. Mainly used in the Supershape and Joy series for less fatigue on a long ski day.

KERS (Kinetic Energy Response System)

Captures released energy at the end of a turn and returns it at the next turn entry. Especially in the WorldCup Rebels racing skis, for faster rhythm changes.

EMC (Electro Magnetic Conditioning)

Built-in dampers in the ski tip that filter vibrations at high speed. Result: calmer skiing on hard piste and ice. Standard in top models of WorldCup Rebels and Supershape.

LYT tech

Lightweight wood core construction in ski boots and skis. Reduces the weight of a ski boot by up to 20% without losing responsiveness. Used in Edge LYT and Nexo LYT shoes.

LiquidFit

Two custom fluid cushions in the heel pocket of the ski boot. Adjusts to the wearer's foot in seconds. Fast heel fixation without expert foam baking.

PR bond (Power Rail)

Integrated ski binding plate that allows the boot to fit more loosely on the ski – more flex, less cushioning. Built into many WorldCup Rebels packages.

Frequently asked questions about Head

Is Head a good brand for skiing?

Head is a renowned Austrian brand that invented the first aluminum ski in 1950. The company is a technical leader and sponsors many World Cup skiers (including Lindsey Vonn). The skis from the WorldCup Rebels, Supershape and Kore series are especially strong in carving and piste skiing. For the average piste skier, a Head ski is a solid, race-inspired choice.

Are the Head products in your outlet new?

Yes. All Head items are new, unused and in the original factory packaging. These are previous seasonal models or carefully purchased lots - not second-hand. Technically identical to the current Head model, only graphics or color scheme may differ.

Which Head ski suits me?

Depends on your level and driving style. Do you mainly want to carve on the slopes? Choose the Supershape line. Race-oriented? WorldCup Rebels. Versatile on piste and in powder? Kore (especially for advanced) or Pure Joy/Joy (women, beginners-intermediate). Doubt? WhatsApp us – we advise based on your level, weight and use.

What is the difference between Head Supershape and WorldCup Rebels?

Supershape is a carving-oriented ski for recreational advanced skiers – short and quick to respond on piste. WorldCup Rebels is the racing line with separate models for slalom (SLR), giant slalom (GSR) and supergiant (XR/XSR). Rebels has a stiffer flex and is intended for faster speed and more aggressive lines.

Which Head ski boot flex should I choose?

Beginner or recreational: flex 80-90 (Edge LYT). Advanced recreational: flex 100-110 (Nexo LYT). Sporty piste rider: flex 120-130 (Raptor or the stiffer Edge LYT). Women's models have a lower calf height as standard (WomensFit). Are you in doubt? Send us your foot width and level - we are happy to advise.

Does Head also make snowboards?

Yes. Head has a complete snowboard line with all-mountain (Anything, True), freestyle (Falcon, Course) and women's models. In addition, snowboard boots and bindings. Not as well known as the ski line, but technically well made – often using the same construction methods as the skis.

Doubts about your Head choice?
