Our story
We, David Noordhoek, Emile Daalmeijer and Chris Evers, are three enthusiastic thirty-somethings with a shared passion for snowboarding. Our hobby led to the founding of 2nd Ride, with the goal of making our own winter sports holidays more affordable.
From a modest marketplace trade, we grew into a professional webshop. With now more than 2,500 products in our range, we help winter sports enthusiasts throughout Europe get the best equipment at the sharpest prices.
All our products are checked, waxed, sharpened and repaired if necessary in our own workshop before they are shipped to you.

With our background as snowboard instructors and salespeople in large (winter) sports stores, we are able to provide you with expert advice. We go on winter sports annually and extensively test new equipment every year during a long weekend.
