Jones Snowboards outlet – freeride and splitboards from Jeremy Jones

Jones Snowboards was founded in 2010 by Jeremy Jones, one of the most famous big-mountain snowboarders in the world. Before Jones, Jeremy rode pro for Rossignol for 17 years; from that experience he built a brand specifically made for freeride, off-piste and splitboarding. Since 2017, Jones has been part of the Nidecker Group, with production at Nidecker's own factory in Tunisia – ownership and design remain with Jeremy and his team in Truckee (California).

In our Jones outlet you will find freeride snowboards, bindings and outdoor equipment from previous seasons. The range is aimed at riders who want more than just piste: backcountry, powder, long descents and touring. Everything new, unused, in original packaging. Jones also has one of the strongest sustainability stories in snowboard land (1% for the Planet, recyclable materials, eco-fiberglass) – something to take with you if you value conscious gear.

Jones outlet – freeride snowboards & splitboards

Flagship, Stratos, Mountain Twin, Frontier – up to 50% off

What does Jones sell in our outlet?

Freeride/all-mountain snowboards

Flagship (the name says it all), Stratos and Frontier 2.0 are the freeride choices with directional shape, setback and firm flex. The first step for most riders with a freeride ambition.

Directional twin snowboards

Mountain Twin and Mountain Twin Pro combine a twin shape with a light directional feeling: just as easy to ride switch as forward, with extra grip at speed. Asteroid Eclipse for the younger/freestyle rider.

Women's snowboards

Women's Flagship, Women's Stratos and Dream Weaver 2.0 are women's versions with a narrower waist, lighter flex and modified shape for lighter weight. The Stratos Ruiki Masuda LTD is a special collab edition.

Jones apparel (jackets, pants, midlayers)

Outdoor gear developed for backcountry: Shralpinist (REC) jacket and stretch version, Cloudripper jacket for women, High Sierra Pro trousers (W). Three-piece layering system with a focus on durability and breathability.

Jones technology: what do they stand for?

Jones boards combine a few typical technologies that are found on almost all models. Here are the most important ones – all developed from big-mountain riding.

Spoon Tech

3D base contouring at nose and tail: the tip is slightly curved upwards (like the top of a spoon). That lifts the tip in powder and in the turn – less edge-catch, smoother release. On Flagship, Stratos, Hovercraft.

Traction Tech (Toe/Heel)

Three small "magic bumps" in the side of the edge at each contact point. This gives an extra bite when carving on hard snow without making the board feel less forgiving. Standard on almost all Jones boards.

CamRock profile

Hybrid profile with camber between the bindings and rocker at nose and tail. Combines grip and pop of camber with float and playfulness of rocker. The flat-to-rocker transition is tuned per model.

Eco Construction

Jones uses FSC-certified wood, recycled steel edges, biobased sintered base on the higher models and top sheets made of plant-based materials. This makes Jones one of the most sustainable brands in the market.

Karakorum Series Splitboards

Jones is known for the Solution, Stratos Split and other splitboards: snowboards that can be split in two so you can walk up the mountain with skins. Jones is actively helping to make the splitboard discipline great.

Pro-Foam Edge & Bamboo Stringers

Reinforced with damping foam on the edges (less vibration) and bamboo reinforcement in the core for pop. Found on the Pro versions of Mountain Twin, Aviator and Flagship.

Frequently asked questions about Jones

Who is Jeremy Jones and why did he start Jones Snowboards?

Jeremy Jones is an American big-mountain snowboarder who rode pro for Rossignol for 17 years, also winning several "Snowboarder of the Year" titles. In 2010, he started Jones Snowboards because he didn't think any brand was making boards specifically optimized for the backcountry riding he did every day. The brand has since become the standard for freeride snowboards.

Which Jones snowboard suits me?

For most piste riders: Mountain Twin (all-round, twin-feel with directional vibe) or Frontier 2.0 (forgiving, accessible). For freeride and powder: Flagship or Stratos (directional, setback, firm flex). A similar choice for women: Dream Weaver 2.0 (recreational), Women's Stratos (performance) or Women's Flagship (freeride). Doubt? Send us your level, height/weight and which snow you mainly ride - we will provide tailor-made advice.

What is the difference between the Flagship and the Stratos?

Both are high-end freeride boards from Jones, but the Flagship is slightly more directional and has more setback – designed for pure freeride and powder. The Stratos is a bit more all-mountain: fast and sturdy, but more playful and easier on the slopes. For those who usually ride off-piste: Flagship. For those who want all-mountain with freeride DNA: Stratos.

Does Jones also make splitboards?

Yes, Jones is one of the best known splitboard makers worldwide (Solution, Stratos Split, Storm Wolf Split). We don't always have them in stock in our outlet, but it is part of Jones' DNA. A splitboard is a snowboard that you can split in two to skin up as a ski touring and then descend as a snowboard.

Is Jones really as durable as they say?

Jones has a verified sustainability policy: FSC wood, biobased materials, recyclable steel edges, member of "1% for the Planet" (1% of turnover to environmental organizations), Climate Neutral Certified since 2020. Jeremy Jones also leads Protect Our Winters (POW), a non-profit for climate activism. Not perfect (a snowboard is always material-intensive), but consistently more ambitious than most competitors.

Are the Jones products in your outlet new?

Yes. All Jones items are 100% new, unused and in the original packaging. Previous seasonal models or selected lots – no second hand. Technically identical to the current Jones collection; only color or graph may differ.
