Nidecker outlet – Swiss snowboarding heritage since 1887

Nidecker is a Swiss family business from Rolle on Lake Geneva. Henry Nidecker started manufacturing wooden skis here in 1887; in 1984, the third generation made the first Nidecker snowboard – before most American brands became active in Europe. This makes Nidecker one of the oldest active winter sports brands in the world.

Today, the Nidecker Group is also behind Jones Snowboards, YES., Rome, Now Bindings and Flow – but its own Nidecker brand remains the Swiss parent name. The big innovation of recent years is the Supermatic step-in binding (ISPO winner, 2023): the first binding that combines the convenience of a step-in with the hold of a regular strap binding. In our outlet you will find the complete Supermatic line, plus Nidecker boots and boards from previous seasons - new and unused, at competitive prices.

What does Nidecker sell in our outlet?

Nidecker Supermatic step-in bindings

Nidecker's flagship binding. The highback folds backwards so that you can already step into the strap with your boat: one click and you're driving. Available in Supermatic OG, LT (lighter, smoother) and Carbon. Sizes S/M/L/XL.

Nidecker bindings (Rift, Ranger, Megalight)

Classic strap bindings for those who prefer not to ride step-in. The Rift series (Rift, Rift Pro, Rift APX) is medium-stiff for all-mountain. Ranger and Megalight are lighter and more playful, ideal for parks and slopes.

Nidecker snowboard boots

Boots with BOA® Fit closure in different flex levels. Cascade (men + W) is the all-round comfort boat; Altai (men + W) is slightly stiffer for sturdier riders. Kita, Kaon-W Plus and EJack complete the range.

Nidecker snowboards

Megalight (lightweight all-mountain), Odyssey (freeride/powder with setback), Elle (women's model) and Micron Sensor (junior). All produced in the Nidecker factory in Tunisia, designed in Switzerland.

Nidecker technology: what do they stand for?

Nidecker has its own R&D in Rolle and its own factory in Tunisia. Below is the technology that you will see in our outlet products.

Supermatic Step-In

Folding highback with an integrated locking mechanism. Get into the strap with your boat; push the highback up and the binding automatically clicks closed. No loose plates, no extra boat needed.

Asymmetric Heel Cup

Asymmetrical heel head in the bindings that supports the boot from the inside. Provides more direct heelside response without having to tighten the straps.

BOA® H4 Coiler / Closure

BOA systems in Nidecker boots. One or two dials distribute the pressure evenly over the foot. Quick on, quick off – and no pressure points like with traditional laces.

Camrock Profile

Hybrid board profile with camber between the bindings and rocker at the nose and tail. Combines the grip and pop of camber with the forgiveness of a rocker board. Can be found on the Megalight.

Cloud Bed Footbed

Memory foam insole in Nidecker boots. Shapes to the foot and absorbs shock from landings. Standard in Cascade and Altai.

Swiss Engineering

Boards, bindings and boots are designed in Rolle by a small R&D team. Production in our own factory (not an external contract manufacturer) gives Nidecker control over quality and sustainability.

Frequently asked questions about Nidecker

What is the Nidecker Supermatic and how does it work?

The Supermatic is a hybrid snowboard binding: half strap-in, half step-in. You adjust the straps on your boots once at home, then they stay there. On the mountain, fold the highback down, step into the straps with your boat, and push the highback up - the binding automatically clicks closed. Release is done with one lever. Result: ~5 seconds instead of 30 seconds to get in, with the hold of a normal binding.

What size Supermatic do I need?

Nidecker provides its own size advice per boat shoe size. Overall: S = boot-EU 36-39, M = 40-42, L = 42-44, XL = 45-48. Are you in doubt? Send us your boat size and model - we will check the Nidecker fitting table. The Supermatic fits relatively tight; for wide boots we often recommend one size larger.

Is Nidecker a good brand?

Yes, Nidecker is one of the oldest and most respected snowboard brands in Europe. Active in snowboards since 1984, own factory in Tunisia, own R&D in Switzerland. The Nidecker Group also owns Jones, YES., Rome and Now – making the company one of the largest independent snowboard players in the world. The Supermatic binding has won multiple ISPO Awards and is consistently highly rated by snowboarding media.

Are the Nidecker products in your outlet new?

Yes. All Nidecker items are 100% new, unused and in the original packaging. These are previous seasonal models or selected lots - not second-hand. Technically identical to the current Nidecker collection; only color or graph may differ.

Does the Supermatic fit all snowboards?

The Supermatic is compatible with most board patterns: 4×4, 2×4 and Burton Channel (Burton ICS). The included discs support all common inserts. If you have any doubts about a specific board, send us the model name and we will check it out.

Which Nidecker boots are the most comfortable?

For longer days on the slopes: Cascade or Cascade W (soft-medium flex with BOA H4 and Cloud Bed sole). For firmer riders who want more hold: Altai or Altai W (medium-stiff, double BOA). Both families are available in men's and women's lasts – the women's version has a narrower heel pocket and lower calf.
