Nitro outlet – snowboards, boots and bindings at competitive prices

Nitro Snowboards was founded in Seattle (USA) in 1990 by Andy Wolf and Tommy Delago, and moved to Münster (Germany) in the mid-1990s. This makes Nitro one of the oldest European snowboard brands. The company focuses exclusively on snowboarding – no skis, no sneakers – and has consistently invested in a wide range for all levels since its founding.

In our Nitro outlet you will find snowboards, snowboard boots, bindings and splitboards from previous seasons. Everything new and unused. The graph changes annually; the construction and driving characteristics rarely change. This makes outlet Nitros technically identical to the current collection – at a significantly lower price.

What does Nitro sell in our outlet?

Nitro snowboards

Complete board range: from the entry-level Prime to Marcus Kleveland's iconic Team Pro signature model. All-mountain (T1, Magnum), freeride (Pantera, Demand) and park/freestyle (Cinema, Squash). For ladies: Mystique, Fate and Ivy. Junior shapes for children (Ripper).

Nitro split boards

Touring snowboards that you can split horizontally for skinning uphill. The Vertical and Miniganger Split are regularly in stock. For those who want to look for fresh tracks off-piste.

Nitro snowboard boots

Boots from the Crown and Anthem series, with BOA® Fit closure for quick, pressure-free adjustment. Different flex levels from soft (beginner/park) to stiff (freeride/race). Men's, women's and youth models.

Nitro snowboard bindings

Bindings from the Team, Phantom Plus, Rambler and Cosmos lines with asymmetrical highbacks. Compatible with most board profiles via 4x4 and 2x4 disc systems. Team Pro is the racing/freestyle choice.

Nitro technology: what do they stand for?

Nitro invests in its own R&D from Münster. You will see the technologies below in our outlet boards and boots.

Cam Out Camber

Hybrid board profile with camber between the bindings and flatter towards the tip/tail. Provides pop on ollies and grip on carving, while the board remains forgiving on toe/heelside cantles. On T1 and Squash.

Gullwing Rocker

Profile with two rockers (one at nose, one at tail) and flat-out between the bindings. Playful feel, easy in powder, forgiving. On Cinema and Prime.

Powercore PFC

Wood core construction with a mix of poplar and ash for a light but stable base. Standard in the higher boards (Team, Pantera).

TLS (Triple Lock System)

Boa closure with three separate zones in the boot: forefoot, heel and calf. Each zone can be loosely tightened for maximum fit. Used in Crown TLS and Profile.

EVA Cloud sole

Cushioning in the sole of Nitro boots that absorbs shock during landings. Tires out less quickly during a long snowboarding day. Standard in Crown and Anthem.

AirOut bindings

Strap design that keeps the heel cup free for fewer pressure points on the boot. Integrated into Team Pro and Phantom Plus.

Frequently Asked Questions about Nitro

Is Nitro a good snowboard brand?

Nitro has been a respected snowboard maker since 1990 and has been among the top snowboard makers in Europe for more than 30 years. The boards are known for their consistent quality, wide flex range and good price-quality ratio. Team riders such as Marcus Kleveland and Eero Ettala ride Nitro at the highest level. There is a suitable model for beginners to experts.

Which Nitro snowboard suits me?

Beginner/first board: Prime or Cinema (soft flex, forgiving). Versatile recreational: T1 or Team Pro (medium flex, all-mountain). Advanced freeride: Pantera or Magnum (stiffer, speed). Women: Mystique or Fate (narrower waist, softer flex). Doubt? Send us your weight and level – we will advise you individually.

Are the Nitro products in your outlet new?

Yes. All Nitro items are new, unused and in the original packaging. These are previous seasonal models or carefully purchased lots - not second-hand. Technically identical to the current Nitro collection, only graphics or color may differ.

Is Nitro a German or American brand?

Both, in a way. Nitro was founded in Seattle (USA) in 1990 but moved to Münster (Germany) in the mid-1990s. The head office and R&D are in Germany; the boards are produced in European factories. The American design DNA is still visible in the models.

What is a splitboard and how does a Nitro Vertical work?

A splitboard is a snowboard that can be split in two, with a ski binding and skins on both halves. Lift your skin (as with touring skis) and then put the two halves back together for the descent as a snowboard. Ideal for off-piste powder without lift. The Nitro Vertical has an all-mountain shape and is suitable for both beginners and experienced tourers.

Which Nitro boots are the most comfortable?

For the most comfort on longer days: Crown TLS (Triple Lock System for 3-zone adjustment) or the Anthem (medium flex with EVA Cloud sole). Both models have BOA® Fit for quick and even closing. For freestyle/park, a softer boat such as the Profile is a great choice.
